BPC Reports Not Getting Refreshed

Dear Experts,

We are using EPM Patch 21 BPC 10.1 Classic model. I am facing an issue on EPM reports. Any of the BPC reports are not getting refreshed. Its throwing 500 connection time out.

Can anyone suggest. Please let me know, if any details required.

Thanks for you guidance. Issue has been resolved. We did DB restart and cleared OLAP cache.

Hello Akshay,

Please close the existing layout and try to re-log on your EPM add-in excel. we can set the maximum idle time in the back end, if its exceeds you will get such kind of error messages.

Dear Saida,

We did all the options and basis also checked the idle timeout. Its a genral error message "500 connection timeout".I'll share screen shot in a while.

And one more question is it for one layout or for all layouts...?

please share your error log message also check ST22 and SLG1 whether is there any shot dumps available or not  ..

Thanks for the quick reply. We tried this option,but results are inconsistent. some time report get refreshed in 15-20 mins otherwise it doesn't.

Can you please share your screen shots, like context members, how many rows in your layout ,how much amount of data you people trying to retrieve .. without screens unable to understand what you are doing ..

Hi Saida,

Please find attached screen shot. We are running report for One entity, with Actual and Projection categeories.

Context member contain Time & Entity. We are running for full year.

For Smaller selection you reporting is working fine... ?

can you please share your error log and Check is there any short dump available in ST22 and SLG1..?

Check my above note which I mention in the previous post.

Is it rolling forecast report ..? Can you please explain what you are done in order to achieve that.

Please check whether parallel execution is maintained or not...

Hi Saida,

I already checked in ST22 & SLG1 there is no log. this particular report was working fine till yesterday and used to get refresh in 10-15 sec.  I did only a dimension update, which is not related to this report model. thats the only thing I did.

I am capturing Actual nos as on date and giving projection for remaining months. Parallel Execution is maintained.

once check UJA_DATA_CHECKER and then UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT

Select your env and please uncheck "clean the environment" and execute the program.

and also do "Refresh_DIM_cache" for the updated dimension

You have an issue with the server connection (if you are talking about "Any" BPC reports).
