BPC Report Displays in Different Formats Depending on a User

My BPC users have a complaint that a report they are using displays differently depending on which user opens it. The users have the same access on BW and I'm told the correct setup in BPC web admin. The data is the same. I'm trying to figure out what might cause the items to be shuffled depending on the user.

Hi Robert,

Please check data access profiles for the users.

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for your response. I'm not the BPC frontend admin so I will relay this to my counterpart. I'm on the backend BW side. When you say please check the data access profiles what do you mean exactly? What should I be checking for? I'm assuming this is in BPC not the backend NW roles correct?

Data access profiles in the BPC WEB administration... Access to the members of secure dimensions!

Vadim,

The users in this scenario have identical security settings.

Member Sorting and Grouping are both enabled within the report:

For User 1, the report sorts, groups, and subtotals as expected, but for User 2 it does not:

Thanks for your input.

David

Sorry, but not clear...

Try to use simple report without Sorting and Grouping to see that report will show the same lines for different users.

Also try to refresh metadata for connection.

Vadim,

The lines shown for both users are the same. With Sorting & Grouping and without.

Nothing is lost in this report for User 2, the order is just jumbled.

Metadata has been cleared and refreshed. Our standard user options are set to clear metadata cache daily.

David

Still not clear... Can you try to narrow down the issue, check report with less rows or...
