BPC Package View status not opening

Dear All

We are facing one strange issue.

For one of the Data manager package in BPC, the Log is not getting created.

When we click on Package view status, it shows successful. But when we try to see log, it says log file couldn't found.

We tried to check in UJFS - Private publications. The folder not created for the date triggered on. for other packages its working well.

could you please help on it?

Due to the fact that you are using custom chain (ZBPC_FP_04) in this package - then it's not possible to help you without detailed analysis of ABAP code of this chain.

I tried to re-created the DM package, still view status is not opening after package completion.

The issue is -> When we click on view status of this package error popping out saying "No log file found" attached screenshot.

The Advanced tab in dynamic script is empty when we try to see it.

Hello,

Is it possible that there was a cleanup and log files that are older than a certain date were removed? Removing older log files is not unusual, in fact it is necessary if you are facing issues especially during UJBR restore or backup.

No, its not cleanup issue. Because for other packages the log file is getting created in private publications,. But only for this file its not creating. Not only for me, for other user private publications folders only for this packages.

Not sure, what could be wrong here

I understand the problem better now, thank you for the explanation. You are saying that you are executing the package now but are not getting the log.

Were you ever able to create the logs for this package in the past? If so please look into what has changed.

Please check server side logs and traces.

• Check for relevant errors in SM21, SLG1 .
• Using RSPC check if the execution of the package completed.
• Check job log t-code SM37, double click it to open it for the details.

I checked everything. No issues sm37. Also rspc chain log is green and completed as well

Please provide the following details.

1. Is this a new problem with a package that was working successfully and completely in the past? If this problem just started happening to a package that was completing successfully in the past, and writing the logs, please focus on what has changed
2. Check UJD_STATUS and confirm what is the value in status in that table.

I have checked previous package logs as well. The package never worked with view status log since begining.

I am about fix it, so posted here if i could get some help from anyone.
