Hello everybody,
We'll start a project using BPC on hana as an engine for planning structures and calculations and new Cloud for planning as a reporting and scenarios creation tool. My doubt is: Is it mandatory to create embedded models in order to be able to connect it with C4P? Would you recommend to use classic models with BPC on Hana?
Thanks in advance for your comments!

Nidia,
You can create a connection to either classic or embedded BPC. For the embedded version, I would think you would use a BW connection rather than a BPC connection since the objects are native BW objects. Please note that you will need to install and configure middleware (HANA Cloud Connector) in order to bring in either data or the entire model.
Hope this helps!
PS.: the help menu in C4A and on help.sap.com is very extensive and useful
