Hi,
I am investigating an issue where client computers getting an error ("The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.") during a Full Process of a dimension. Normal/Incremental processing works fine. And running a Full Process directly on the BPC server also works fine. Both client computer and Server are having Office 365.
I stumble across a StackOverflow-thread (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21728773/the-underlying-connection-was-closed-an-unexpected-error-occurred-on-a-receiv) which indicated that it could be related to an outdated version of the .NET Framework.
The current .NET Framework installed on the BPC server is 4.5.
What is the recommended .NET Framework version for BPC 10.1.13 or greater?
In the BPC Installation guide I find that ".NET 4.0 is required", but that information doesn't seem up-to-date.
Request clarification before answering.
Greetings charlie.wurfel
The following SAP note addresses your topic. Apparently, it is not related to the .Net framework.
Basically, you are required to uninstall Microsoft Office 365 from the BPC application server, reboot the BPC application server, and finally reinstall the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 x64 on the BPC application server.
Hopefully, that will help to address your topic. Kindly accept the answer, so others can benefit from your post.
Cheers,
Luis
