Smaple of our ownership structure is as below in BPC. Please got thru and let me know inputs for following questions
GROUP 1000
ENTITY 1000 ( owns ENTITY 2000 by 80%)
GROUP 2000
ENTITY 2000( Holding)
ENTITY 2001( owned 75%)
ENTITY 2002( Owned 75%)
We have enabled ownership and maintaining in group 1000 percentage it owns all subsidiaries.
While consolidating at GROUP 1000...following questions I have..
1. How to make sure investment of 1000 is eliminated only against the equity of 2000 and not against 2001/2002?
2. While calculating noncontrolling interest (NCI)/minority interest at GROUP 1000,how to ensure that minority interest (NCI) is calculated at only against the equity of 2000.
3. How do we make sure that NCI of entity 2001,2002 is not consolidated in group 1000?
4. How to make sure that ENTITY 2001,2002 results are reported at ENTITY 2000 and parents ENTITY 1000 can pick up the results from ENTITIY 2000.
