In BPC 7.5 we want the users to open the EVDRE report/input template, but not delete or modify or save new reports..
Is it possible to restrict. How to achieve it. Please elaborate little bit We are in 7.5 NW.
Appreciate your inputs.
Request clarification before answering.
But anyway, the user will be able to save template/input form locally and will be able to modify the copy locally if it's not protected!

Hello,
Just to confirm I understand you correctly, you want some users be able to use EVDRE report/input templates but not to modify them.
There is a task profile that provides access to company folder. If you remove that task profile from the users, you will prevent them from updating reports/inputs.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to BPC 7.5 to give you the exact name of the task profile. It is named something like Edit content of Public (or Company) folder.
I hope this helps.

Hello,
Referring to the security guide of SAP BPC-NW 7.5 would be helpful in this case I think.

I hope this would be helpful.

Hi,
It’s very much possible; provide access only to submit and analysis task to the user.
If you need more information, kindly let me know
Thanks,
Devi
