BPC 7.0 - Housekeeping Activities

Hi All,

System: BPC 7.0

We have a Legal Consolidation Appset with 10 Dimensions and 6 Applications.

1) As part of month-end process, we process the dimensions in 2 batches. This approach is based on that there will be data change done to    memberhseet, and then we run the dimensions which have references in other dimensions, together as a group.

     a) Legal Entity - Groups - Intcol

     b) Accounts - Category - Time - Datasrc - RateInput - FuncArea - AcctDetail

     Is this the right approach? Can we process all the dimensions together?

     As of now, individual dimension process will take a huge time and hence we run them together

2) We have 6 Applications, Under what circumstances it's better to run Modify Applications? Is it better to consider it as a Month End House Keeping Activity?

3) As per my understanding, if we trigger a Full Optimization for a particular Application via the 'Admin Optimize' in Admin Console, the dimension process for all dimensions will also take place

So, in this case, is it necessary to do a Dimension Process of all 10 Dimensions and then do a Full Optimisation of all the 6 Applications??
