BPC 11 Standard drill through to BEx query in web URL

Hi,

I belong to the BPC team.

I have set up the basic configuration of drill through (DT) from BPC 11 standard to BEx query. When I execute/test the query URL it is working as expected however I am not able to pass parameters using dynamically in the query string. The current parameter value I am lodt-error.jpgoking to pass is 'Year' based on parameters(attached) but on execution of the report the Year input value is requested again.

Note: I have followed all the steps as per the document to create the drill through setup.

After clicking on 'OK', the URL opens up with input variable pop-up -

Tried checking the drill-through in simple EPM report created on the model but the Drill through is not available.

This is how it is designed with only one input variable i.e. Time.

Can you manually create URL that will result in correct BEx query output?

This URL in the as is format gets me to the right BEx query output without explicitly asking for input parameter.

Correct. After running in RSRT HTML view, this is how the URL looks like where after passing the parameter it is encrypted post the query name as sap-iapp-state=ASXN10SBIPOARDXPMYXV0CWMB82OBKRS9JEBP5DK

Already tried, these are the only options in BW4HANA. The above URL was extracted from HTML view.

I don't have BW4HANA system - can't test...

Definitely you have to find the way how to pass parameter for BEx query in URL! Encrypted form is useless for drill through

Yes, unfortunately that's how it is. I have exhausted all the options now and finally raised an OSS incident with SAP.

In contrary, I am able to drill-through to a S/4 t-code successfully.

By the way, how do you decided to use the following variables/names?

Found them in note 1826699 though it is for 10.1. V_M_CMS_FISCYEAR is the BEx characteristic variable I have created. Thank you.

Is this issue resolved? If Yes, could you let me know the steps to follow. As I am facing the same issue in BPC 11.1 NW for BW4HANA.
