Hi experts,
We are trying to create a package with Visual Studio 2012 (SQL server 2012). We have already copied the ".dll" to the specific folder.
When we double click anyone of the BPC task in the "Control Flow" we receive that error "Cannot create Activex component".
Anyone has solved this issue?
Thank you in advanced!
Álvaro.

Hello experts,
Finally I "solved" the issue by installing Visaul Studio in the server and building the SSIS packages directly there. I am not able to make it work in my own PC.
Thank you for your time.

Álvaro.

Hi Alvaro,
probably you need to register the dll see please 2155212 - Error "Cannot create ActiveX component" happens when execute any packages in BPC MS 10.0 s...to follow the rules.
Please remember to search also in sap notes not only inside the forum and remember to close the thread when solved, eventually explaining your solution if you found yourself assigning assingning the "correct answer" this will help other user with same issue to find quickly how to solve.
Please avoid also to reopen old thread asking for a solution, if they didn't close correctly the thread explaining what was the solution 2 or 3 years ago they won't answer now almost surely to provide the solution that they probably have also forgotten.
Regards
Roberto

Hello Roberto,
It seems to be the correct answer. However, I have problems with the installation of the SSIS Client. When I try to install it in my pc, I receive and error of wrong user/password...
I tried to install it directly in the server but I receive the bellow message. I attach you the screenshot. Any idea?
Thank you very much.
Álvaro.
Hi Alvaro,
just reboot the PC and retry to install, see please 1870857 - BPC Upgrade Hangs Assigning COM+ Components
Verify that all your sw is supported with your BPC version and sp here , if ok follow the install guide for the bpc custom tasks.

Roberto
