BPC 10.1 NW Environment Transport from BW on non HANA to BW on HANA DB

Hello All,

We have BPC NW 10.1 on BW 7.4 with non HANA DB at Location A and BW 7.4 with HANA DB at Location B.

We wanted to transport the BPC environment from Location A to Location B server and had below queries.

1. What is the purpose of ENABLE_ACCELERATOR/ACCELERATOR_ON parameters? Is it fair to assume the BPC models will be HANA optimized only when these parameters are turned on?

2. What is the purpose of BPC_MIGRATE_TO_HANA?

3. What is most preferred approach and why between the two options below to move the Environment from Location A to Location B:

     a. Using UJBR utility

     b. BW Transport mechanism

Recommended option - UJBR. Take a look at migration guide.

1. Those parameters are prerequisites for Models to be HANA optimized.

2. You have to run that program to make those cubes HANA optimized.
