BPC 10.1 MS ERROR ACTIVE X COMPONENT AFTER MIGRATION

Hi experts

We migrated from BPC 10.0 MS SQL 2008 R2 to BPC 10.1 MS SQL 2016. I see that all models, dimensions, security, process and script logic are the same.

But when trying to execute any data manager package the followinf error is shown:

Exception Error Description= System.Exception: Cannot create ActiveX component.

at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.CreateObject(String ProgId, String ServerName)

at SAP.BPC.Services.Application.DataMgr.Server.Resource.ObjCreate(String strClass, String FileNameAndJobName, String& sErrMsg)(Assembly: Unknown, Object: OSoft.Services.Application.DataMgr.PackageExecute2008.DTSX)

In the old system (BPC 10.0 MS SQL 2008 R2) this error is not happening. So I don´t know why this error is shown.

Enviroment:

• Server: SAP BPC 10.1.11.0 MS
• Office 2016. 64 bits
• EPM Add-In : 10.0 SP 34 .NET 4.7.2 x64

Please see if below solution helps. I had the same issue after upgrade from BPC MS 10 to 10.1

Resolution

Copy either DTS files or both folders from D:\PC_MS\Data\Webfolders\EnvironmentShell\Consolidation\DataManager\PackageFiles to your environment Package files folder.

I'm facing the same error.

I tried to apply the note 2155212, but it didn't solve the issue.
