BPC 10.1 journal Entries error (Please update the journal template to create the generation of ids)

Hi All,

We are using BPC 10.1 (SP Level 810 - 0014). When we are trying to post a journal Entrie, we are facing error (UJJ_EXCEPTION_089 Please update the journal template to create the generation of ids)

Simply recreate journal template - you have no journals - no issues!

Thanks for the reply. It is Standard only.

1. Have you ever created journals from the particular journal template or is this the first time?

First time we are creating the Journal on the particular template.

2. Were there any changes to the master data or the model between when you created and deployed the journal template and the time that you are using it?

I am not sure on this as i recently came into this project, if this is the case what we have to do.

Hello,

UJJ_EXCEPTION_089 is not showing reported by any other customer in my internal searches. Are you getting this error with BPC standard or embedded? Technically UJJ belongs to BPC standard, but I am just confirming. Please also provide the following details

1. Have you ever created journals from the particular journal template or is this the first time?
2. Were there any changes to the master data or the model between when you created and deployed the journal template and the time that you are using it?
