BPC 10.1 Embedded Work Status issue

Hi,

Below error message appears in QA when work status is enabled, although it works in Dev.

Only 0 dimensions are allowed as the lock dimensions for work status

Work status is enabled upon BPC environment transport, however same issue appears when trying to make changes or disable and enable it.

Work status virtual cube is active and UJW work status table entries are same in Dev and QA.

Any suggestions would help.

Hi Subu,

I have the same problem and wondered if you had solved it.

The organisation dimension is ZSF_ORG.  The dimension has an ownership property which I set in the setup.

Additionally if I try to add other dimensions they are all greyed out.

Have you resolved the problem?

Hi Mark,

to my knowledge the default for allowed work status dimensions is 5 (without any setting). Maybe this does not work anymore. Try to set the parameter BPC_WS_DIM_COUNT in transaction RSBPCADMIN.

Dear Gregor,

Thanks for the tip.

I was able to setup the work status once this parameter had been added.

It solved both my problems.  Saving the work status, and the greyed out options in the additional dimensions selection window.

Hi,

it seems that you mix BPC Embedded and BPC Standard. In BPC Embedded the UJ* transactions or reports are of no help.

In BPC Embedded you have configured work status dimension; these dimensions have to be common dimensions in all basic InfoProviders assigned to the BPC model. What are the dimensions and how many InfoProviders are assigned to the model? Do you have also local dimensions or local InfoProviders?
