Dear all,
I am relatively new in SAP in general and I have an issue on the following:
I want to build Excel workbooks in embedded BPC 10.1 and I would like to give the user the ability to "add line" with any G/L account they would like to plan into. In some standard workbooks, it comes by default but not on all of them (see below)

Note: this a screenshot from the standard workbooks in a test environment, with test data
As you can see, on the left I can add additional "lines" to plan on. On the right, I am limited to what BPC proposes.
What is the option to change that? Where can I find it? Let me know if I am not clear enough.
Thank you!

Hello,
Probably, in the second case you cannot input new lines because at least one infoObject is not shown or defined at that query.
You need to have one value selected for each infoObject or at least shown in rows or columns to add a new line.
If the query is the same, check the components tab of Analysis menu where you can choose the number of new lines shown.

Hello,
Thanks for your answer. Indeed the "number of new lines" option is available in the display pannel under component.
It is however greyed out until you have specific InfoObjects in the aggreation level/query/workbook. If I add them properly I can then create new lines (for example, I need Profit Center/ Deb or Cred/ G/L account to be able to add new lines, if one is missing, nothing can be done).
Do you know where this is defined? Where can I see which characteristics are needed?
Thanks again for your help!
Hi Simon,
