Hello all,
I am working with BPC For S/4HANA Finance (1511 On Premise FPS V1 install).
I am attempting to create a BPF for activities and link my EPM workbooks to particular steps of the activities via hyperlinks.
Create BPF Process Instance
Create Workspace
Add Hyperlink
Target Action->Microsoft Excel->Browse
Once I go to browse and I see folders for (Public, Private and Team) there are NO files available to select.
However when I go to Excel and via the EPM Add-In, within that model I have my EPM saved files in the public folder.
Is there some setting I have to change or have I incorrectly set something up? I haven't paid too much attention to the performer/reviewer, driving dimension and other parts of the BPF as I assume (as with Standard BPC) this shouldn't affect me seeing workbooks in the model.
Please see the comparison between what I see on my EPM Add-In vs. the BPF screen in the workspace area.
Please advise, thanks.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Jay,
Are you using Analysis for Office(with EPM Addin+ Analysis) or EPM Add-In excel only?? Have tried using Analysis for Office ----> Open Workbook in BPF hyperlink???
Regards,
JP

Hi JP,
Apologies I misunderstood.
I cannot open via "Microsoft Excel" (original issue) and I cannot open via the "Open Workbook" (I do have some Analysis For Office workbooks, however when I select 'Get Variable' nothing happens).
"Open Query" DOES work and I can open the queries via this method (as shown below):
Go to SPRO --> Planning & Consolidation --> Configuration Parameters --> Set Environment Parameters
You should have the following parameter:
DEFAULT_EXTENSIONS
Check if is set with the value:
XLS,XLT,DOC,DOT,PPT,POT,XML,MHT,MHTML,XLSX,XLSM,XLSB,ZIP,PDF,PPTX,PPTM,POTX,POTM,DOCX,DOCM,DOTX,DOTM,CDM,TDM,PNG,GIF,JPG,CSS,MRC
