BPC 10.1 Comments deleted when create a new dimension

Hi experts:

     We have just migrate from BPC 7.5 to 10.1 and found this issue. In previous release (BPC 7.5) when you create a new dimension in BPC model, comments deleted (OSS note 1954316 - BPC NW: Comments deleted when creating new Dimension.). But  it's still happend in 10.1 ?, anybody found a solution?.

This is normal! But you can save the old comments table and restore...

Hi Abel,

1. extract all the comments out of the comment table into a file

2. add new dimension to the model

3. write a abap program to upload the file into new model and create a new member for the newly added dimension.
