Dear All,

I am trying to restore an ENV from QA to PROD and got the following error message:

Error occurred while creating environment via Admin API

After that, when I tried to restore again, had the following error message:

Environment ID XXXXXX already exists; delete environment and try again

I have attached the error screen shots. Pls. help to fix this.

Thank you!

Regards,
Peri

Hi Peri,

1. have you activate environment shell in PROD before the restore?

2. you need to delete the old environment if you want to use the same name again.

Andy,

I believe ENVIRONMENTSHELL must have been activated. This is because there are two other environments which must have been restored this way.

How can I check if an environment has been activated or not?

Also, I could not delete the old one as it is not even appearing in the BPC web admin page. Is there any other way, I can do the clean up?

Thank you,

Peri

Clean up using UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT?

yes, use UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT to activate and delete existing environment.

Vadim/Andy,

I believe UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT is used to activate ENVIRONMENTSHELL alone. Pls. correct me if I am wrong.

To delete the incompletely installed ENVIRONMENT( not necessarily the default one), which command do I need to use?

Thank you!

Sorry, but please try to launch SE38 with UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT yourself... You will see
