BO Profitability and Cost Management integration with ECC or BW

Hello Experts

We have a requirement to load master data and transaction data from ECC/BW to PCM.

Is it possible to load master and transaction data from financial information management application to PCM from ECC/BW. If yes, which is the best approach to load data ie BW or ECC.

Also,

1. Does it connect with some BW Content Cubes? Which ones?

2. On which components ( R/3 Modules ) does it connect with?

Not just the technical ( or Connection ) integration but the Functional Integration.

PCM has a tool for loading data called data bridge.

In Data Bridge, datasources include the following:

Flat files
• SAP Netweaver® Business Warehouse 7.0 SP20 and later
• OBDC (Online Database Connectivity) datasources
• OLE DB for OLAP (Object Linking and Embedding, Database for Online Analytical Processing) or ODBO datasources
• MSSQL databases
• Oracle databases
• IBM DB2 databases

The exact use is detailed in the documentation. There are also some good SAP Notes on the topic too.
