Hi Experts,
we have closed one entity and our user suggested not to see this entity anymore in all reports, please suggest.
As we know if entity as transaction data this cannot be deleted. what are the steps to follow to block this entity where user should not see this in his reports.
Thanks

Hi Pavan,
You can use any of the option suggested above OR other option would be to create a flag(property) in the entity dimension to flag as "Y" in case it is to be removed....Like the approach used in BW objects!
So in reports you can only filter out the entities <> Y. So in future if any other entity is removed you just have to flag it as Y in dimension and it will be automatically removed from all reports.
Hope this helps...

JP

Hi Pavan,
As Lucas mentioned, use Data Access Profile to deny access to that entity and also remove the entity from the hierarchy of Entity Dimension.

Simply use the data access profile to deny access to this entity and assign to all users.
It won't appear even in the member selector.
