Hello Everyone,

I have configured the following in below systems:

SAP CC

Chargeable item Class, Charging and Price Plan, Charge Plan, Charged Item class , Consumption Item mapping and Billable Item Mapping.

SAP CI(S4HANA1909)

Consumption Item Class Creation and Activation

Billable Item class creation and activation.

Performed all the relevant Configurations.

Created a Provider Contract in SOM and it got successfully replicated to CC with assigned charge Plan and charges got activated.

However , When I try to send BITS from CC to CI they are not getting transferred. I have checked Invalid directory but could not find any error files in it.

Request you to help me on this.

Thanks

Santosh

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the update and sorry for the late response.

1)I will check with the basis team regarding Rater CIF configuration file. meanwhile, could you help me in understanding below:

a) Normally , If we have any data relevant errors those will be stored in Invalid Directory. However , am not able to view any files in Invalid folder. Are we missing any configuration here.

b) If BIT-Validator element is enabled , where can we find the error Charged items in CC

2) Billable Items are not present in RAW state in SAP CI

Please suggest if we need to perform any other checks.

Regards,

Santosh

Hello Santosh,

In case of bad item

if the validator is used on Rater side, the rating is rejected, an error is returned to the client application (or a log is written if it is a scheduled activation) and that it. So the returned error has to be monitored.

If the validation is done on BulkLoader side, the rating is done, a successful result is returned to the client application, and the item is stored in the Invalid folder.

Best regards,

Eric F.
