BEX reporting Actual vs Plan on BPC cubes

Hi Experts,

Could any one let me know if we can do bex reporting Actual vs Plan on BPC cube, This would be a bad practice?

If yes, what are the problems or limitations?

What would be the best recommendation for this case?

Hi Pablo,

Yes, it is possible to create BEx Reports on BPC Cube/Multiprovider as long as technical names of the dimensions are same. You might need to think about security aspects, as BPC DAP/Roles will not be applicable for these BEx queries.

Alternatively, you can load BPC data into BI cubes and build queries on it - if there is no need to have real-time reporting.
