We are implementing BPC and have settled on the Embedded model to maximize our HANA installation.
The planning models will be enterprise wide and need to support many users.
We have looked at some of the RDS's especially Financial Planning and CAPEX Planning hoping to learn SAP Best Practice for BPC Embedded.
However, the RDS's are all based upon the Standard BPC models.
Are there any RDS's or Best Practice documents on BPC 10.1 Embedded?
If not, could anyone who has implemented BPC 10.1 Embedded share their experience.
We are specifically interested in the interaction between SAP Standard BW Cubes and their dataflows and getting the data into transactional planning cubes.
Are there staging cubes? Should planning cubes be exact copies of business content cubes? How to load the planning cubes? Directly from ECC? From BW cubes? Do we need a data hub? How to handle retractions?
