Benefits of using Local members?

Hello, For static BPC report(fixed number of rows and columns) can someone advice on why to use local members and not just excel calculations?

"For static BPC report(fixed number of rows and columns)" - no benefit! But your column and row axis member id's has to be also fixed - for example generated by Excel formula.
