Dear SAP Experts,
SAP note 2827882 gives a link to download base taxonomy for ESEF scenario from a share folder. I noticed that in 2023 folder there are some base taxonomy with a suffix (-IT, -FR, ...). I image that -IT means italian, -FR french and so on. What is the difference between this taxonomy and the main one? Is there any further activity to implement if we would like to use the -IT base taxonomy if we need to produce an Annual Report and related iXBRL package in italian language?
Regards,
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
What is means is that the zip file contains the labels of that particular language (in addition to English)
So, the package "base_2023_IT.zip" will contain the file https://www.esma.europa.eu/taxonomy/2022-03-24/esef_cor-lab-it.xml
...and "base_2023_FR.zip" contains https://www.esma.europa.eu/taxonomy/2022-03-24/esef_cor-lab-fr.xml
etc.
This is done to save you some work - we're nice 😉
You could also achieve this by following this wiki, https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/CPM/DM+-+Language+labels+in+ESEF+taxonomy
Best regards,
Marc
