Base members in Page-axis

hello all,

We want to add all Base-Members to the page axis, so we can use 'Exclude Members' from Report Editor. But we are only allowed to add 'member only' to the Page-axis? Any idea how to add them on base-level? (clicking them manually not possible as only 30 are allowed).

Thanks!

Hi K,

Vadim is right....best is to use the parent member in the page axis! Page axis does have the limitation of 30 members! But you do have a strange requirement of taking all base members in the page axis and then Exclude members!!!! Can you explain the report requirements so that we can think if any other possible solutions can be applied.

First you are using incorrect tag!

Second - use parent to aggregate data and select parent in page axis.

P.S. If you want to use different sets of base members you have to create different parents (may be in different hierarchies)

Hi K,

To get around the 30 member limit please apply these notes:

2322294 - Multiple selection in page header does not aggregate values

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2322294

2016928 - Move aggregation logic for multiple selections in page axis to BPC backend

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2016928

  1. Apply this note or upgrade to relative support packages.
  2. Add a global IMG parameter 'PAGEAXIS_AGG_IN_BACKEND' with value 'X'.
  3. Upgrade EPM-Addin to SP18 Patch01, SP19 or higher support pachages.

Note 2016928 will increase the limit to 300 but it's not a solution in general!

K Krooymans , what's your plan for this? What are you trying to achieve?
