BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE Tax Items

Hello All,

I am posting a document using BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE.

Requirement:

The BP Line items is $10. This amount is inclusive of tax.

The document should post $9 to revenue and $1 to tax GLs.

BAPI Postings:

But BAPI is posting calculating tax on $10 and making it a total of $11.

I could not find any flag to achieve this.

If I post using FPE1, I select Calculate tax automatically and select the Tax Jurisdiction flag.

FPE1 posting is as expected.

Any pointers are helpful.

I hope you are doing well. I am also using the BAPI BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE. I am trying to post with taxes, but I get a notification that "tax rules can not be calculated on the G/L acccunt positions."

Has any of you coped with this issue?

Check the Following SPRO config-

Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable--->Basic Functions--->Maintain Central Settings for Posting

Check whether the setting 'Receivable Amounts Are Net Amounts' is ticked or not.

I think in your sceanrio its ticked, thats why you are getting an extra tax calculation line item.
