Hi All
Looking for some advice. We noticed an issue in the Balance Carry Forward standard logic (rules maintained in the Account-based Calculations) for an Ownership Hierarchy change scenario. This is SAP BPC Standard.
For example, if as per the attachment, an entity is moved out of the L_5115 Consolidation Group (SCOPE), and moved into another separate sub-node of the main Ownership hierarchy, we see that the Balance Carry Forward is posted for this old Consolidation Group level as well (L_5115), where as the expectation is that the BCF values and the Movements should only be posted to the new Consolidation Group level in the Ownership hierarchy. So now we have BCF values posted every month for both the old and new levels, which is not desirable. Please let us know how we can stop the BCF values being posted in the old (L_5115) level. Thanks.
PS: For some reason, we see that this happens only for Group Currency journals data posted via BPC Journal Entry (Web Client).
Request clarification before answering.
