Hello everybody
I'm trying to enforce journals to be balanced by Entity in BPC by checking the Balance Journals by Entity check box in the JE template settings (as well as by currency).
However, the system still allows me to create a JE with a debit to one company code and a credit to another. Has anyone encountered this? Is it a bug? Am I overlooking something?
FYI we're on BPC 10.1 NW Classic
Background parameters set to
ENABLE_JRN_BALANCE = X
JRN_BALANCE = 1
Thanks in advance for you help!

Request clarification before answering.
Understand. I am still able to post an unbalanced (by Entity) journal, in spite of all the setting being checked (Balanced by Entity in the template, and Balanced in the journal itself), so I assume it's got to be some kind of bug.
Can I just ask you what your back-end parameters (the ones I mentioned in the initial question) are set to?
In any event, thanks for you help!
Best regards
Trond

Please provide the screenshot of the posted journal not balanced.
