Automate PaPM Process Template Execution

Hi,

In PaPM, we deploy process template with Process ID and use fiori app "My Activities" to execute the tasks /functions assigned in the template.

Is there any possibility to automate or schedule the execution of deployed process template as background job? if yes, please share the details.

the I/O activities usually require manual interference per design from the perspective of business process management. If you're only referring to the execution activities, yes, they may be automated. For instance, you may schedule a job for the transaction /NXI/P1_FW_RUN with appropriate parameters.Best regards,Zhiyi Tang

We have one process template which is used for different business units and while deploying Process template, unique Process ID is provided as per individual Business Unit. It ensures that, by Process ID results are saved in Y* table for different business units.

I checked background option with transaction "/NXI/P1_FW_RUN" , but it is allowing to enter Process template & functions only. How with this background option, i can capture Process ID generated during deployment of Process Template?

perhaps one option might be to write a program to capture the Process ID generated from the table /NXI/TP1CUP?

This is not possible as I have confirmed it with our responsible developer so basically this can only be done manually.
