Hi Experts,

1. I want some help on how to know the size of table containing audit data?

2. What is standard practice for house keeping of audit data. i.e. Up to how much number of entries / Up to how much size it is advisable to have in audit data table?

I have gone through the following link:

https://blogs.sap.com/2015/04/17/how-to-archive-the-data-change-audit-and-clearingdeleting-the-archi...

but it does not containing any above required details.

Thanks,

Karan

Audit data storage depends on business requirements. It has to be some common cense discussion with finance people to define the required period (keeping in mind that in critical cases the audit data can be restored from old full server backup). After period is defined you have to provide enough space and server capacity.

P.S. In general it's hard to predict audit table growth. In some cases after running DM package multiple times the growth can be significant...
