Dear Team,

For an asset the NBV is negative. We have not allowed to negative the value but still it is showing as negative.

Expert, could you please guide me?

Dear Mark,

Kindly check the screenshot.

By default, the below option is enabled for every AUC asset. How do I disable that?

You should not disable this on AUC, see note 19048 - AA617 with credit memo on fixed asset / AuC settlement

Dear Mark,

Good Day.

Thanks for your comment.

As per your suggestion, I checked the SAP note no.- 19048. May I know that if it is mandatory to keep the "Negative Value Allowed" option for the AUC asset ?

Awaiting your response.

Thanks,

Shreekumar

During the settlement process there are times the AUC will go negative without the flag set then you will get error AA617.

For your case I would look at final asset and compare it to AUC, it looks like there could be a item that settled too large a number. You could try reversing and checking settlements again.

Dear Mark, As per the screenshot I had shared previously, the negative value allowed option is coming by default for all the AUC asset during it's creation. My client wants that, it shouldn't be activated during the AUC asset creation. Is there any way where it can be deactivated so that any AUC asset created shouldn't be that option activated.

You can change it in a the asset class customizing, but it isn't advised, share the note with your client. AUC should have the flag for negative values allowed set. It is standard handling.
