Hi Sridhar,

Firstly I would highly recommended to hire a experienced consultant to assist with the implementation, in case you are implementing this for a customer.

You don't require to use building, equipment, property and rental object, unless there are specific processes that require these objects, e.g. Lease-out for rental objects.

With the contract object you could support all categories. In V_TIVBDCNSUBTYPE you can specify multiple contract object types, e.g. Furniture, IT Equipment, Machinery, etc.

In V_TIVCNSUBJCNTY you can restrict the use of the contract object types per contract type.

In V_TIVCEASSETDIF (screenshot in your post) you can specify the different contract object types and link these to a different asset class using a different account determination value. That way in V_TIVRAACCDET you can reuse the same flow types but with a different account determination value to point to different account symbols. This will help you to reduce the number of flow types in your configuration.

Hello Sridhar,

As Andre mentioned, You can use the J4(COB) to determine different asset classes by using a "Object type" in the contract.

Below is the configuration setup for the same:

Each Object type can be mapped to a different asset class considering ta Differentiating Criteria.
