Hello, I have the below instructions regard fixed assts and Assets under construction :

  1. AS01: Creating an asset number(gives you an asset number)
  2. KO01 and KO02: Creating an investment internal order(gives you an order number to give to purchasing)
  3. MIRO: Post the invoice
  4. KO88: Settlement of internal order to asset (moving the posting to the asset)
  5. AIAB and AIBU (only for assets under construction): Changing an asset under construction to a normal asset (capitalising)

There appears to be a step being missed somewhere as i have completed the first 3 actions and when i go to KO88, i have the below error : "Either the sender is already settled, or there is nothing to settle"

When I enter transaction AIAB, i have the following error: " Asset not yet capitalised" and AIBU error is " Line item settlement is not possible for asset: VSS 100996 "

Could anyone offer any advise or support with this please #S4Hana

Hello Chelsea,

The steps should be as follow:

1. Create Investment Order using KO01 and make sure that you enter the investment profile in Investment tab to create the AuC Automatically, and the AuC will be assigned automatically to the settlement rule.

2. From the toolbar go to Extras-> Create Completed Asset to create your finished asset and it will be assigned automatically to the settlement rule.

3. Post your Entry with the Internal Order as Account Assignment Object.

4. KO88: Settle your internal order and select the settlement type as periodic settlement, this step settle all costs to AuC.

5. KO88: Settle the internal order for the second type using settlement type full settlement, this step settle all costs from AuC to Finished Asset.
