Asset number was not created automatically in RECN or RE80 while creating contract.

Hi SAP experts,

Could you please help me in SAP RE-FX, I am unable to generate asset while creating contract in transaction RECN.

In valuation parameter tab after updating interest rate and posting date. when we select flag icon to set the valuation. Asset number was not created automatically. Could you please check and provide your valuable suggestion to proceed further.

Hi,

Have you assigned the Asset Class against Contract object type in configuration?

Also Dep. Area & Accounting principle to be assigned on Valuation Rule level, to get correct mapping of Valuation rule with Dep. Area.

Once you complete the Valuation Rule, system will generate Asset No. automatically.

Are you getting any error?
