Hi folks,
I need two things:
1) To validate what happens with depreciation when we transfer from one prior year asset to another Same prior year asset but different class?
2) Is there a way we can get all depreciation catchup in the month of transfer?
For example, we have made transfers from CC510 asset 50357140 2021 (Dep key was set to 0000) to several 2021 (Jan 31, 2021, capitalization date) with dep key, it resulted the entire NBV to depreciate over the remaining life of the new assets, where I expected a catchup in March for last 37 months. Can we get actual documentation/validation of what SAP is doing?
