Asset Accounting - Deprecation Below Zero

Dear all,
we have one question question in regards to Deprecation Below Zero.
The help portal describes basically exactly what we want to do

For cost-accounting purposes we require the deprecation below zero. The help page indicates in the yellow marked part, that it is required that the depreciation area permits a negative net book value.
We struggle to identify in the cloud version how to configure the deprecation area so that it permits a negative book value.

Anyone has an idea if
a) the help description for the cloud version is correct and it is possible to configure the system as required and if yes how to achieve it
Or
b) help us in finding a solution/workaround if a) is not the case?

Hi,

The feature of "Deprecation Below Zero" is currently not supported in S4H Cloud for various reasons. In addition, the approach to use this method for cost accounting methods is a rather outdated approach. Also it demands a dedicated depreciation area which only posts depreciation to G/L. However, this feature does exist neither.

Best practice would be to use corporate valuation e.g. IFRS as approach for cost planning.
