Archiving Strategy for BPC 10.x models

Hi All,

We have some BPC 10.x models (/CPMB/ namespace models and dimensions) for which we would like to know the standard data archiving strategy for transaction data. As per Note 1705431 :

• • Transaction Data
    • • Planning and Consolidation stores transaction data in SAP Data Warehouse(BW), it's recommend to use standard BW Information Lifecycle Management data archive strategy.
    • • Currently, only Data Archiving 3.x is supported by BPC 10.X.

As per the above points, we would like to know what is Data Archiving 3.x? Does this mean ADK- and NLS-based archiving methods? If yes, then we believe it won't work for us, as when we tried to "Create Data Archiving Process" in the context menu of the /CPMB/ cube, it gave an error saying there is no suitable time-slice characteristic available:

If the above methods do not work for the /CPMB/ scenario, could you please provide information on the standard archiving options for such models in the /CPMB/ namespace? If there are no standard options, what are the other options available for archiving ? Thanks.
