After performing all necessary tasks and planned testing for go-live, one should decide how those settings and information will be delivered into production instance, for that, there are two different options:
- Perform a tenant copy - the indicated approach when a great amount of data needs to be sent to production instance, with this option, all details will be sent and kept the same, meaning ids and other configurations requested to be performed by Support/Operations team. This is also a good option considering ongoing development is needed on environment, avoiding issues related to database data.
- Send information through Send/Deploy feature - this is indicated when there are not much information needed to be sent for other instance, it is not indicated when performing mass data transferring such as in sandbox -> production deployments. Also, not all details can be shared through this option.
