Alternatives for non-additive data at a parent level?

Looking for alternatives for non-additive data. My specific issue revolves around mfg metrics like "yield". Let's say we have a cost center with a qty of 80 good out of 100. The yield is 80%. Loading those values via input template works correctly. Now let's say we have a second cost center with 20 good out of 100, thus a yield of 20%. Again on a stand-alone basis, simple to input. The problem comes at the parent level. While the additive values like 'good qty' and 'total qty' will be correctly stated at the parent level, the yield will not. One solution is to create a dimension formula for yield. That's fine when you have just a few calculated members, however as the list of calculated members grows, our report performance suffers. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of some alternatives.

Dimension member formula is the only solution! I am not counting pure Excel formulas..

Read my old blog:

https://blogs.sap.com/2013/02/21/average-percent-values-on-nodes/

report with 20-30 member formulas is not very slow.
