Agent Determination using 2 custom tables in SAP GRC BRF+

Dear Experts,

Scenario: We have a requirement to route the request for approval to Requestor's Manager. I am creating an Agent rule for the same.

Work Done: I have located the table GRFNMWRTINST which contains the request number and the creator and also created a custom table mapping IDs with their respective managers.

Now I have created 2 DB Lookups:

1) Fetch the Requestor for Request Number from GRFNMWRTINST

2) Fetch Manager for the employee ID from Custom Table

Query: I am not able to figure out how to combine these 2 dblookups so that requestor fetched from 1st dblookup is passed on to the 2nd and I get the Manager ID which becomes my Agent?

Please guide.

Hello Shiva,

Please use BRF+ Ruleset and rules. there you can feed output of one lookup into second one.

Thank you for the input. I was able to replicate the scenario successfully through ruleset.
