Hi,
While working with a colleague on their laptop, I noticed that they were unable to locate member ID's in a couple of areas of the EPM Report Builder. Within the find member section of "Member Names" and the "Local Members" the highest level parent of the member you are searching for rather than the member itself.
I have checked this on two builds that colleagues have installed: 2.7.201.85348 and 2.7.200.84890 we are running SAP BPC 10.1 NW Standard (Hana) with BW 7.5.
My laptop has an old build of 2.4.1.65520, and the search works fine.
Has anyone else experienced this error
Cheers,
Mark
Request clarification before answering.
The problem was related the version of Analysis for Office.
Using AfO 2.7.601.90251 the search works.

Vadim,
From within the EPM Report Editor - "Member Names" tab. Use the find feature to search for an ID.

On some versions of AFO (2.4.65520) it works:

On other versions of AFO (2.7.201.85348 and 2.7.200.84890) the find function returns the parent of the member.

I hope that this is now clearer to you Vadim.
Cheers,
Mark
