Adding new Field in Transaction: /SAPSLL/EMB_BLRL_EXP Release Export Documents (Emabrgo)

Dear Experts,

I am relatively new to GTS. Would like to know if it is feasable to add additional Z Field (Text character length 50) in the Report: /SAPSLL/EMB_BLOCK_DOCS_REL_EXP?

Purpose: Our Client wants to add a reference Text for every blocked Declaration before releasing.

Any details about where to start from?

NS, there is no standard way to add a comment to all blocked items in the blocked embargo documents report. The only place you get is what Satish has suggested above at the time of releasing a blocked document.

However, if you prefer to go Z way, I would suggest to use any one of the "additional data" attributes (length 10, 15 and 30) instead of creating a new field. These are available standard in the report.

NS, another alternative. If you have limited number of embargoed documents, you may use the "attach document" functionality in GTS . With this, you may attach a MS Word or any other file to the blocked documents.

Thanks for your response. Our requirement is to add a reason for every blocked document that is not released from this transaction.

Currently we downoad the list and maintain a reason Code in Excel against every blocked document not released for Audit purposes.

Is it feasable to add a text field in /SAPSLL/EMB_BLRL_EXP . Any idea how I can achieve this? Regards NS

When releasing documents blocked for Emabrgo, comments can be entered, why do you need custom logic?
