Hi Experts,
I do have an requirement of adding dimension to an existing model which has data.
Can you provide inputs for the following.
1. Effects on data after the Model once New Dimension has been added.
2. Does it change the technical name of the Model.
3. Effects on the Reports and Input Schedules which are been used.
4. Do I need to take backup of the data.
SAP BPC NW VERSION 10.0
Do let me know the best way to achieve this requirement.

Testing now. Data has been assigned to the dummy member of the New Dimension.
But need to know the best way to achieve the requirement.
My concern is, what will happen on the Production system once we move the new Model.
Is it going to add the dimension to the model even though data is present in the existing model?
Basis is taking backup. UJBR has been blocked, so no Backup can be done from BPC.
