Hello Friends,
Characteristic /ERP/GL_ACCT for Embedded BPC
In Embedded BPC, the Characteristic "/ERP/GL_ACCT" was used as the account dimension
However, I notice that it only one attribute and does not include all the attributes which is included in standard BPC such as ACCTYPE, RATETYPE, ELIM etc.,
If there is need in the consolidation model, how we can add Attribute (properties) in /ERP/GL_ACCT (Accounts dimensions or any other dimensions?)
Request clarification before answering.
I see.. can you check the below scn thread? the second problem statement you have described "Characterstic ZACCTYPE is not mapped to any attributes in the SAP HANA model" looks similer to this.

Hi,
I work on BPC Embedded in my Planning project and although we use multiple InfoObjects as "Dimensions", we always have option of enhancing them in typical BW way if we opt for using an already existing InfoObject and I think it hold good for your case too.
However while enhancing, we need to give a thought about the reusability of these attributes and population mechanism for these objects (by user, by ECC etc.)
Hope this helps!!
