Dear Community,
Basically, I would like to know how to add/remove sample text from the request reason field:
I change the EUP Field "Request Reason" to Mandatory in SPRO (Governance, Risk and Compliance -> Access Control -> User Provisioning -> Maintain End User Personalization). However, when I create a new GRC request, the description box (request for reason) in step 3 is already filled with predefined text: <Bitte Anforderungsgrund angeben>. As such, a requestor is not forced to write an individual description in the request reason field.

As such, where can I remove the predefined text <Bitte Anforderungsgrund angeben> in the GRC AC request?
Thank you very much for you help

Hi everyone,
Finally, we were able to remove the sample text as follows:
NWBC -> Access Management -> Template Management
Here you will find the different templates for your GRC requests. Additionally you will find field "Description" in the Access Details.

Hi Milenko.
The default text for Request Reason should be set exactly in the same place in which you define if it is an enabled/mandatory field.

As yours is coming in German, try to set a new temporary text in English, check if it will begin to be added to your access requests and then clear it to have it blank as default.

Hi Marcelo
Thank you very much for your answer. I checked the EUP field for Request Reason, but it was blank:
In effect, I could not find the default text in the EUP Fields. In addition, it had no impact in the GRC request when I added a new temporary text into the field. Is there any other way to customize default texts in GRC requests? Thanks again.
Best regards,
Milenko
Hi Milenko.
As far as I know, this is the only way for configuring your default text for Request Reason (besides development).
Are you using Template Based Access Requests? If so try to check this behavior also for a non-template based one.
Additionally try to directly check table GRACEUPCONFIG in SE16 to see if you can find this text set in any record for field Request Reason (002).
