Hi community,

We have a integration scenario SB with Convergent Invoicing  (scope item 51K).

We are trying to rate usage record, but our existing business requirement is that this usage is measured by KWH. The tenant was created after April 2023 and to create the unit of measurement KWH is not possible anymore.

In existing S4HANA implementation, the KWH unit is part of ISO codes, but is this unit is missing in the  https://help.sap.com/docs/subscription-billing/setup-administration/standard-units-of-measure#loiofc...

What can be done in this situation? Is it possible at all to create a custom unit in SB?

Thank you for your support!

@YoyoYao Would you kindly give a hint?

Hi,

thank you for your question. SAP Subscription Billing supports a defined set of units of measure that all have ISO codes (see Standard Units of Measure). This facilitates integrations with other SAP products and the use of rate plan templates with pricing schemes. You can only choose unit codes from the standard list of ISO codes.

So far "kWh" is not included in the standard list of ISO codes. Based on your feedback we consider to support "kWh" as standard unit of measure and plan to add this feature to our backlog. In the meantime you can create a ticket using component CEC-SAL-SB to request additional UoMs.

Best regards,

Boris
