Activation of Item Categories

Hi GTS gurus,

I have a question on activation of Item Categories.

There is no option (in the dialog structure) to activate item categories for Customs processing. For all other application areas I can see the options under Dialog Structure. So can you please correct me where can we activate item categories for Customs processing?

Hi Ashok,

Unlike Complaince, there is no need to activate item categories for customs declaration. There is no mapping or activation of item categories as such in Customs Management. You can specify the item category in define "Define Document Type" node for Customs Declaration. CLPOS is the standard one.
