While doing Asset settlement AUC to main asset not able to settled same asset class i have done one AUC but other not able to do 

i have check all configuration is correct but still facing same issue  

Account 'KTNAFB : Acc.Dep. Accnt.for Ordinary Dep' could not be found for area 30

Message no. AU133

Diagnosis

The system could not find account 'KTNAFB : Acc.Dep. Accnt.for Ordinary Dep' for company code XXXX in depreciation area 30 when creating the journal entry.

Procedure

1. Check whether a G/L account is defined in the account determination of Asset Accounting (in Customizing for Asset Accounting for example under Assign G/L Account or under Define Offsetting Account for Legacy Data Transfer 

1. Check whether the defined G/L account is created in your company code.
2. Define a G/L account or create the G/L account in your company code.

To solve this Error in the T-code AO90 under XXX Chart of accounts -->>>  XXX Account determination -->>> Depreciation -->>> Here you will see your Dep areas XX nnnnnnn,

Assign the G/L.

Hi Kaveen,

Could you please explain the reason behind maintaining ordinary depreciation account for AuC?
We are having the same error which is solved if we proceed with the proposed configuration but we don' t understand the reason.
