ACCOUNT hierarchy for PARENTH1 and PARENTH2 getting issues while loading ACCOUNT Master data with nodes from BW to BPC ,where Parent nodes having different children which BPC doesn't seems to be liked throwing issues .

Please see attached screens ,this is BPC 10.1 NW classic on HANA DB SPS12 ,BW 7.5 Version.

Please advise how to handle this in BPC.

Best Regards,

Praveen

You have to use different parents with different names! Have to repeat once again: "Parent nodes having different children are prohibited in all BPC versions."

For example instead of same name CAPTAX you have to use 1CAPTAX for the first hierarchy and 2CAPTAX for second hierarchy.

Thank you Vadim,

suppose ,CAPTEX1 having different child members is acceptable right as per your statement,

For example ,

CAPTEX1 is having A1,B1,C2,D3 as child members

CAPTEX2 is having A1,B1,C2,D4,E5 as child members

Will this work right. Please advise.

Best Regards,

Praveen.

Different parents can have absolutely different child members! It's obvious!

Please accept the correct answer!

Hi Vadim,

Then how do we handle 2 hierarchy loads into BPC ACCOUNT dimension ,if it is the correct behaviour .We are having same node names with different children in 2 hierarchies as per business requirement. Please let me know how to handle this scenario.

"Parent nodes having different children which BPC doesn't seems to be liked throwing issues ." - And it's a correct behavior!

Parent nodes having different children are prohibited in all BPC versions.

Please correct your question to make it readable! Use "Insert Image" instead of incorrect "Insert File"!
